Primeau only drafted goalie who attended Montreal's camp

The Rev #goaliefactory continues to live up to its name.

Former Rev goalie, Cayden Primeau, who just completed his freshman year at Northeastern University and was a 7th round selection of the Montreal Canadiens in 2017 recently attended the Habs development camp.

GM Chris Kanaly, who also trains Primeau, is proud to see one of his students continue to climb the hockey ladder. "Cayden is extremely meticulous with his preparation and his game play.  He keeps progressing at a steady pace and he knows he still has a long way to go to achieve his goal of playing in the NHL."

The Revolution has a long tradition of placing goalies at higher levels.  Fans will remember other top notch goaltenders such as Jamie Regan (UNH) and Anthony Jacaruso (Miami-OH) as well as most recently, Nick Donofrio (Hamilton - OHL), that the club has seen come through it's ranks.

Kanaly says it's a product of hard work and determination on the part of these young men. "They put the extra time in.  There are almost, literally, no days off for these guys.  They are driven and want to succeed.  It is, what I believe, separates our goalies from others.  They are sometimes the ones that get overlooked when they are younger.  We take them in and develop them".

The Rev are busy preparing for another season in the EHL which will get underway in early September.  Please check back regularly for the full schedule announcement.
