Chris Kanaly to coach U15 Elite Team in 2020-21

Philadelphia, PA – The Philadelphia Revolution are proud to announce that President and General Manager Chris Kanaly will be the head coach of the U15 Elite Team (2005) next season.

Kanaly brings a wealth of knowledge and coaching expertise to this age group. He will be joined by current Head Coach, Jon Houk on the bench next season.

The team will look to play a 60-Game National Schedule which will include six Tier 1 showcases and the ability for their players to compete in front of the best and brightest coaches from the NCAA. Kanaly addressed this new endeavor.

“I am very excited and I appreciate the opportunity from the Black Bear Sports Group Management Team in allowing me to coach this very important development level," said Kanaly.

"We have an excellent core of players that have been groomed in our Elite Program during the past four years. We will play an up-tempo, physical brand of hockey that will focus on discipline and superior team play.”

Kanaly has over 25 years of coaching experience ranging from youth to midget to junior and Professional Hockey. He will start the recruiting process in March and look to build a top 2005 group in the Atlantic District.

He went on to say, “Let’s be honest, the 2005 age group is one of the deepest in the country right here in our district. Having a well oiled, disciplined and accountable group will be the key to our successes next year."
