Roby commits to Lions inaugural season

The Philadelphia Revolution would like to announce that Guy Roby has made the decision to attend school and play for Bryn Athyn College.

Guy Roby is a 1996 birth year forward from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining the top Revolution junior team, he played for the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the NAHL. In two seasons with the Revolution, Roby had 76 points - 36 goals and 40 assists. This past season, the 6-foot-2-inch, 220-pound lefty amassed 21 goals and 32 assists in 45 games played.

“I’m very happy with the choice Guy made,” replied Revolution Head Coach Jon Rogger. “Roby is a hard working player with great offensive upside. He will make an immediate impact at the college level.”

Roby joins teammate Alex Doyle by committing to the Bryn Athyn College Lions. This upcoming season will be the first at the NCAA Division III level for the Lions hockey program.
